Questions about ADC in Waveform -

I'm really curious about the facts on Automatic Delay Compensation in Waveform, and it's accuracy and integrity across all tracks in an edit as a mix gets complex with routing and multiple VST filters. Really these are questions for the developers, but I hope it spurs a good discussion amongst all you T gurus by posting it here.

Q: Does every track have it's original timing between tracks maintained accurately by automatic delay compensation in Waveform, even as the following get added to the edit:

-Audio tracks with chains of vst's, in racks or not.
-Midi tracks with a virtual imstrument, as well as a chain of vst's.
-Submixes with chains of vsts.
-Frozen tracks containing one of the above.
-Frozen tracks with additional chains of vst's.

And, what happens when you freeze tracks at a very high latency setting, and then switch the sound card to a very low latency for overdubbing, and then maybe switch back. Does Waveform accurately maintain the timing relationship between tracks and new overdubs?

Does Waveform accurately maintain the timing relationship between tracks when you output various tracks to different outputs on a sound card as opposed to outputting to the main L/R out?

Finally, how accurate is accurate? Is it sample accurate?

Anyway, some food for discussion. I look forward to your thoughts.
