So, I've decided that it's time to install Automap 4.10 in my DAW pc. But I still have Automap 3.5 installed there. Now, my question is: Must I uninstall 3.5 first or can I just install 4.10 over the 3.5 ? (if there are any advantages to that, like making sure that all previous settings are maintained). My controller is the ReMote SL61 (1st model, not mk II). Thanks in advance!Question about Novation Automap update

Hi, I've been using Automap 3.5 for a long time because I was afraid of updating due to getting all my control map layouts all mixed up in previous updates -- now I've tried a fresh installation of Automap 4.10 in another computer that I use for experiments before making definitive changes and installations in my other computer (my main DAW) and was happy to notice that my old automaps all appeared with the correct layouts, so the problem seems to have been fixed!
