One great feature that MMultiband Granular is missing I think is grain filtering. (unless I totally missed that out but I don’t think so… If yes, correct me! Haha)
By grain filtering, I mean that each grains can have random filter values. That can create very unique and organic textures that cannot be achieved with a regular filter placed at the end of the signal, that is applied to the whole output sound. So far, this type of grain filtering is rare and the only plugin I know that can do that is Argotlunar, with the choice of a high pass, lowpass or bandpass filters with random function applied to each grain. Amazing stuff. The other tool that can do that as well is AudioMulch but it’s standalone software.
So, would that be a great and quite rare feature to add for MMultiband Granular? I really think so!
What do you think?
