Online sound processing

Hi everyone,

Here is a project I would like to develop:

Following a university thesis I passed about the acoustics of an instrument and the related enthusiasm from the community of players about a specific aspect of the thesis, I would like to develop a tool for them which would act as following:

- the player can upload a sound file of his own
- once uploaded the server performs some sound analysis and processing
- the modified sound is prepared for download
- the player can download the modified sound and do some stuff with it from his GUI (comparison...)
- original and processed sound are kept in his personal cloud

There are many audio libraries on the market, some are Open Source. What would be according to you the process/libraries to build such application? It reminds me exactly what are doing some online mastering providers, so it should be doable! But I haven't receive any real answer on forums so far.
