Any hardware sampler users here who've played with the libraries of the past? What were some of the best that you found to be rreplaceable? Even though a cymbal is just a cymbal regardless of its '94 or 2014, different mics/different techniques set it apart and produce a different result.
My all-time favorites: Larry Seyer GigaPiano II, Bass, Ac. Drums (especially the ride - still can't find a ride that sizzles as much), Giga Convolution (the included library was great), Wavelore American Zither, Nashville High Strung Guitars, and a few others I can't remember at the moment.
Best Sound Libraries of the 90s/00s (AKAI, EMU, Giga, etc)

I mentioned in another thread a few weeks ago... Will Lee Bass vol 1 from Sampleheads... it started out as akai+CD+??? then they eventually created soundfont downloads which is how I got it... still use 3 or 4 of those basses today, and not just for scratch work!
You need to limit that rez, bro.
