back in 1980 , or so , the residents released their 'commercial album' ...

the vinyl release carried a collection of compositions exactly 60 secs in length ...

this certainly matches that spirit , and i fully expect this will be used to flog volkswagens on an unsuspecting populace , in say , two years or so ...

you'll have to edit out 19 secs. however ...

Well I was thinking of not making any of them 60 seconds long :)

Created a separate map on the spot to keep track of these.

Okay :-o

What the heck kicked in there at 10 secs. :-o

Yeah; this will be a treat; all of them.

Will we get little tales of how it came about as well?

Demi :!:

What kicked in? Vurtbox of course.... :)

It came about because I was sat here at work at lunchtime running Bidule and testing a couple of new acquisitions, and i thought 'I should be a bit more productive, maybe I should do some stuff in my lunchtime...'

So this was done with Vurtbox, DeltaIII and the Rhino 2 pre-release, processed by Quantum-FX, with a little bit of TobyBear's Stepper and Quickkeys to control them...

Hmmm, Im they're probably not intended to end as much as loop. I'll sort out the end of that one though, its not quite right for some reason.

The vague idea is to build a CD or playlist that is playable on 'randomise'. Or if you're feeling adventurous, two or three CD's :)

I might even see if I can do some sort of Flash thingy that'll play two or three at once, looping and repeating small groups of tracks...

nice idea

but yeah the endin on that one doesnt help its loopability :?

Thats a smoother-ending one up instead... lemme know how that seems...

(The reason I hadnt noticed is cos Ive got crossfading on in WinAmp :dog: )

Yeah, I edited the .wav bounce from Bidule in Audacity but it was quite quiet, so I'd normalised it trying to get the volume up. But I forgot to save an edited version of the .wav when I bounced to MP3, so when I went back and edited the tail (with a little reverb to smooth it), I compressed and then normalised it. And saved the .wav this time :)
