EDIT: Thread title adapted to cover this weeks deal.
This Week: 2016 Stereo Room
This weeks deal is the final deal.
It ends May 31st.
(Old text referring to UltraReverb, Week 1.)
I remember checking this out at a pals machine once and rather liked it.
Right now it is only $47 and the description says 'Instant (Serial Number)'.
Is this really true? It doesnt need iLok?

Yep, soft iLok. Very nice reverb.

Not that im surprised, but i hate it when they do that.
In my opinion it shouldnt be permitted to write 'Instant/Serial' unless its actually true, because if there is one thing that absolutely does not fall in that category its iLok.
Anyway, thanks for confirming. And yes, the price seems more than fair. I remember it having a very pleasant 'enveloping' character, i.e. you almost couldnt tell that its there when it was turned on but you instantly heard how much is missing when you turned it off. Should be a good deal for those that dont mind the iLok requirement.

I wasn't going to spend any money on-line this month and then this happened.
Ah well, at least I'm very pleased with it.
Approx' $40 @ Audiodeluxe.

Does anyone have an opinion as to how this compares with their Stereo Room?

The 2016 uses a Stereo Room algorithm.
The UltraReverb has nine H8000 style reverb algorithms. Halls, Chambers, Rooms, Plates, and Ambience. It also has delay and four EQs, a compressor with external sidechain and a Lo-fi effect.
Well, they're both reverbs and they're both made by Eventide. Otherwise, they are very different products imho.
