Augustus Loop -- change default 10 sec MaxDelay value?

Hello!
I'm using Augustus Loop all the time these days in Live. I usually set up a plugin just the way I like it as a starting point and then use Live's built in "Save as Default Configuration" command to make it so that I'm always starting there.
I've noticed that Augustus Loop's Max Delay setting doesn't respect this... even though I save a config as default it always comes up with a 10sec max. I record much longer loops than this and would prefer a 4 minute maximum... but setting it at 240 doesn't stick.
Can you please advise? I'd be happy to dig into the prefs or defaults and make a change there if that is what was needed to get this setting permanently set. I've had more than a couple of times where I've lost some good stuff by only recording 10 seconds of it instead of the whole performance.
Thanks for the amazing tool.

I don't see that - changing the Max Delay and then saving the set, or saving as the template set, both bring back the plug-in with the changed Max Delay when loaded.
Do you have the current version of everything?
AU or VST?

Current version of everything, freshly installed.
Here's what I am talking about:
Open Live
Put a Augustus Loop on a track.
(possibly related) Expand view; press Configure Button
Get rid of all default params, add some incl tap record, etc.
Set Max record to 250 seconds.
Right click on plugin title bar in Live's plugin tray (at bottom of Live screen)
Choose "Save as Default Configuration" (<-- this is key as this is the way to save the parameter configuration that you set up to be the default.)
Delete the instance of A. Loop.
Load A. Loop up again.
Max Delay time is 10 seconds, not 250.
I've never run into this with another plugin. Even plugins like Kontakt and Reaktor will bring up the exact state the whole plugin was in when you saved as default.
When I save my set it keeps the 250 sec max delay.
In any case, while it would be cool to have that work as expected, I'm down with knowing how to change the default at the plugin level as well. Is there a place where the initial values for all the parameters are set where I could force the change to 250 sec?
Thanks for taking the time.

Interesting - I didn't know about "Save as Default Configuration".
Also interesting - it doesn't seem to work for *any* plug-in, at least for me. Or at least, I've not yet found a plug-in for which it works. Can you link me to a free-ware plug-in that I can download and see it working for?
In the meantime you could just save a plug-in preset, and load that when you want to load the plug-in.

Interesting. It does work with some plugins... Kontakt and Reaktor work this way and I've definitely set up my templates for Sountoyz, but it does seem like I can't get this to work on plugins that I've not done this to in the past. I'll file a ticket with Ableton about that, feels like it might be a Live bug.
Can I ask again the other question: is there a way to change the plugins default for a longer loop in the config files or with a script?
Thanks again for the help.
