So Nick Mason's playing a normal beat, the percussionist is playing some kind of high pitched toms in between the beats, anyone know what sort of drums they are? Maybe they are just small/high pitched toms? They almost have an African quality, I'm trying to do something like this for a song of mine... I'm after samples obviously... who plays real drums :hihi:

I've yet to explore the kontakt factory library, there might just be something in there.

Thanks.

Those skins/pads look quite large so they could even be samples - even in 1994. Look for things like DecaToms for high pitched tuned toms.

Given the era of the band:

Interesting: 'Decatoms' also known as 'Octobans'... so, you're both right! :hihi: ... seriously though, yeah, they sound pretty darn close, they have the same woody/knock quality, with a bit of plate reverb I think I'll be there.
