Helios is an incredibly advanced instrument for Kontakt. Combine two sound sources and rhythmically swap between each sound or create rich evolving soundscapes with gradual modulation. Each channel has an additional 11 individual sequencers which can all be sync to different speeds to control a rich collection of effects in either a pulsed or blendable system.

Each sequencer has advanced controls which allow you to change the speed, number of steps, direction, offset, fade-in, nudge and loop individually per sequencer. Each sequencer also has copy/paste functions, randomisation and built-in presets.

I am not really that happy with the presets shown in the vid but wont matter if the included soundsources for the two channels are giving possibility for some other sounds too but I could not find any info on kontakthub about this. Would be great if you could give some additional info about the included sounds in the two channels (list would be great), are they the same or different ?

Hi. There are 36 sources in total. Each source can be loaded in either of the 2 slots and blended/modulated together. The Factory sounds are highlighted in the video below:

We will make a new video showing how to morph the sounds asap.

Hi Kaneda,

thanks a lot for the second video, makes things and possibilities much clearer.

I know the intention is mostly textures/ambiences therefore might be a picky request but with these epic sequencing possibilities I would really love to have some more "clean" sounds for at least one sound source like "just" a guitar, a flute or similiar which could be used with the sequencers to kind of "stand" in front of the very processed/mixed sounds. Maybe just outside your intention and I must admit the sounds ARE all really great and meanningful and of courese give epic possibilities if you mix two of them, but hope you get what I like to say. I really love the general idea and the sequencer possibilities but think could be used for a much wider spectrum of sounds with some additional more basic/clean sound sources.

Thanks for the kind words. I agree, a few 'organic' sources and real-world recordings would probably work well in a sequencer like this. We will keep that in mind for the future and, if we get time, create an update with additional sources.
