I'm surprised that there isn't a thread about this yet:
http://www.aes.org/events/142/

So... aside from U-HE being at the AES as company, is there any other KVRian running around the MARITIM Hotel grounds as well? If so... Meetup, no meetup?

The Audio Engineering Society issued codes to get an Exhibits-Plus badge for free, here:

Though I don't know if this still applies now that the advance registration period is over.

So yeah... :tu:

Had a chat with Jon from Nugen, they got a nice booth here.

I'll visit his booth later actually (booth 418)... I'm curious what this Ambisonic Output update for Halo Upmix is all about.

Wait Urs, didn't you have a booth? I don't see it on the floor plan...
(looks again) - silly me, it's not listed as U-HE but "Heckmann Audio GmbH", and it's booth Nr. 300... :dog:

Maybe catch you later? :tu:

Heckmann Audio GmbH

U-he was founded by Urs Heckmann in 2001 as a one-man operation. Since then the company has grown into a small, dedicated team of programmers, musicians, thinkers and tinkerers, designers and creators.

We work hard to create our unique line of award-winning audio software—Zebra2, Hive, Bazille, Satin, Diva, Repro-1, Presswerk, Uhbik (and more)—products that help our community of users create wonderful things.

We like to make products that are fun, but also have enough depth so users can grow and learn with the software. The time, effort and passion our users put into creating music reflects how we feel about our products.

And that info tells me... er... "what" exactly?

Just an FYI:
Depending on the event, sometimes U-HE is listed as "U-HE", sometimes as "Heckmann Audio GmbH". And the floor plan didn't use the U-HE abbreviation. My brain just didn't connect it.

Thanks for sharing that information with me.

Since I'm not there, ''what'' exactly do you expect me to do with it?

Wait, is this a troll post?

I asked if there are other KVRians or GS members at the AES 142, and I didn't see Urs' company on the floor plan. Apparently you're not at the event - and you seem to have ignored that I messed up myself.

Am I missing something important? Had some really, really long last two weeks, so I might not be catching up as quick.

Serious question. What are you doing at the event? Are you working or visiting? Will you be posting any videos? The info' about U-HE was copied and pasted from the AES Berlin 2017 website. I found it interesting and thought others might too.
