Kirnu Cream works very inconsistently

So I'm looking for an arpegiator plugin that will suit my purposes. I've tried about 4 different ones and Kirnu Cream has come out on top so far as my main requirement is that I can mess with the arp settings while the arp is still going (Apparently very few do this). However there has been one major problem in that it works VERY inconsistently. That is to say, if I press play, it literally does nothing. If I press play, then change presets it starts to work. I can then (while it's still playing) hit "init" to start a preset from scratch and it will work, but as soon as I hit stop on the playback, this process has to start over. So every time I stop playback, the arp ceases to function.

Setup:
Computer: Macbook pro retina (Late 2013)
OS: Windows 7 (Bootcamp). Latest updates all installed
DAW: FL Studio 12.4.2

I'm using it inside of "Patcher" which is FL Studio's modular environment.
