Hey guys,

I couldn't find the "new release" section, I hope you don't mind me posting our news here... We’re proud to announce our latest collaboration with Native Instruments: THRILL.
It’s a cinematic tension instrument for real-time performance of dramatic atmospheres, textures and clusters. The sound content is based on various orchestral articulations and fx as well as hybrid sound design (tons of custom recordings and crazy sound design).

Check out the trailer:

All information can be found on the Native Instruments website: https://www.native-instruments.com/de/p ... ic/thrill/

We’ve also created an in-depth walkthrough with lots of information on the production process and the use of THRILL. Watch it here:

Feel free to ask questions, if you have any. We are excited about THRILL and we would like to know what you guys think.

Cheers,
Stephan

Sounds very good...however....this field is well catered for already, even by NI themselves. I can't really see what this library can do compared to, say, Morphestra? It is a bit more price friendly though

Thanks for sharing !

Usually I totally ignore the prefab sound design library posts here. This is kind of interesting.
It sounds like my music. :D I'd have to see just how prefab it is, because I actually enjoy sound design quite a bit.

In the 2nd video they use iPad for XY pad. How is it accomplished? I am on Windows- even if I connect by Bluetooth, I don't see how it would connect to Sonar as Midi. So how do I control and record XY pad? Will it respond to mouse? I don't think Sonar has option to record mouse movement. Morchestra has built in ability to record XY pad movements- can this one record it?

You usually need some kind of midi bridge application - I personally use uBridge ( https://www.imaginando.pt/tools/ubridge ) to map my Android phone to Ableton but there's no doubt an iPad variant that does the same thing (I think Liine Lemur is the top one for iOS)
