In latest version of Kontakt, if you load two instances of Kontakt and then load a different library in each one, there appears to be a bug. If you change the octave on the Kontakt keyboard in one instance, it also changes the octave in the instance you are not switching the octave from.

Can someone verify if this is a true bug? One other person so far says it happens to him and that it is a bug.

If it's a bug, what is fastest way to submit to NI? (most likely form on site I guess)

Yep, that happens here as well. Kontakt 5.6.6.

Thanks for confirming. I think the reason I noticed is one dev had KS on low end and another dev had KS on high end, and I had to keep adjusting octave on each in order to see them when needed.

Not a bug I think, it's by design. Octave offset is written into registry/plilst and all Kontakt instances are reading from it. More like hindsight than a bug.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm able to move KS to different area of keyboard in particular instrument, so I won't need to keep shifting back and forth if I want to look at both at same time.

However, when you change octave in one instance, virtual keyboard is updated in the other instance, but octave indicator is not ("+1", "-1", etc.). It qualifies for a little bug IMO.

Because it's only read from registry upon instantiating Kontakt, I suppose. Purely cosmetic.

may be cosmetic, but still may be confusing
