Virsyn's Tera, Poseidon, & Addictive Pro
Korg's iM1, iWavestation, Odyssei, iMS-20, & polysix
Living Memory Software's Layr
Imaginando's DRC
Wolfgang Palm's WaveGenerator, WaveMapper, & Phonem
Wooji Juice's Mitosynth
Sugar Bytes' Unique
The ones that you mentioned, Soundsaar, are all good IMHO -
Sound-wise: I personally consider Virsyn's Tera the king of all ios synthesizers, *even* next to Moog's absolutely superb Model 15 - pure personal preference, admittedly.

I know that I repeat myself but, again,
Sunrizer and Animoog are must haves! And at the moment I very much enjoy the IOS version of the Korg Wavestation

The wonderful thing about IOS synth's like Sunrizer and Animoog is that they work well on even the first generation iPads. And both have iPhone versions as well.
I have Moog's Model 15 but I don't have a 64 bit machine to run it on yet!

iVCS3...astoundingly accurate and powerful
iMini...great
iSEM....also very accurate
Ripplemaker...unique and Buchla/MakeNoise West Coast flavor
Animoog...a staple at this moment
Waldorf Nave...very good
Korg Module... great standard keys
iWAVESTATION...if you like the sound it's wonderful
I have a ton of others, have not purchased iOddessey but it's of interest. Many others leave me wanting either in sound or ergonomics. Many are not InterApp compatible or AU which at this stage is not acceptable to me personally. Like the Mellatron app but again, no inter app compatibility

Moog stuff is obvious. I'm going to go for non-obvious:

Korg apps are at 50% off. Any thoughts about them, on top of the comments already posted?

M1 was the basis of most rave from about 90-96 or so, so that should be a good enough recommendation for that for some nostalgia.Windy23451 wrote:Korg apps are at 50% off. Any thoughts about them, on top of the comments already posted?
Not a huge fan of the rest of Korgs offerings, but the Wavestation with the new UI on IOS< looks slick, may have to grab that myself, shame they don't update the desktop plugins, A-holes.
