for quite a while i have been making chillstep aka melodic dubstep and now i am trying to make some hard core banger like datsik and excision and i know only how to make some metal bass using fm and would like to learn how to make some growls.
so i would like to know on how you guys make your own dubstep
any type of suggestion or tip would be useful for me

Don't be afraid of distortion, especially more digital distortion (might need to EQ it to keep it in control though). Parallel processing (i.e. using a send) can be a good way of mixing harsh effects in without overwhelming everything
