Is anyone using the Nugen Stereoizer (current version 3.2.9.3 64-bit).
It generates a surprising amount of gain, and seems to clip regularly on a signal coming in that isn't near clipping. I put meters on both sides of it.
Regrettably the IN/OUT functions do not operate (certainly not even as described in the manual, providing a dB reading), and the AUTO function is similarly incomprehensible. Clicking it at different times creates a different value each time. Is one expected to click it repeatedly until you stumble onto the best setting?
Where is the gain control?
PS: I love this plugin. It is undoubtedly one of the best-sounding mono-to-stereo plugins made, and I consider myself almost an expert on the topic.

I use it a fair amount. It works fine for me. No major gain increase and AUTO tweeks the gain to bring it back closer to unity. I'm on Logic Pro.
