Multitrack recording

As far as I can see, multitrack recording is not possible in Acoustica 6 or 7, whatever version. Only multitrack editing. For me at least, it would be very convenient to be able tot record 4 tracks simultaneously using 2 (USB) sound cards. The only -affordable- software that can do this (as far as I know) is N-Track, but i like Acoustica more (it looks like Cool Edit Pro). Would this be difficult to implement? I'd upgrade to 7 if multitrack recording were possible...

Hi John!
Best,
Stian
Thanks for the interest! Multitrack recording is something that we are indeed considering. The roadmap isn't quite clear yet, though, so I cannot make any commitments at the time being.johnvanhulst wrote:As far as I can see, multitrack recording is not possible in Acoustica 6 or 7,

There is Waves "Tracks Live", which is free ... but I also would like to see multitrack recording in Acoustica for an integrated work flow.

It is on the roadmap, but not in the near future, I'm afraid.
