Are there any inexpensive plugins or editors with spectral editing capabilities? Or do I have to save up for Wavelab or RX6?

CyberLink's audio director has the basic spectral editing tools built in. I'm almost sure that they licensed them from iZotope. If you get on their mailing list you might get an older version for free. I paid for AudioDirector 7 which won't install on my Windows 7 machine for some reason but along the way I got AudioDirector 6 for free. They often send out emails with free promo versions of their older software.

Not free but I suspect many dont know there are spectral editing/mixing features in FL Studio and/or Edison since a long time

OK, good to know - does Edison have audio restoration /pop and click removal features in its spectral editor? That would be actually neat since I've been planning to buy FL Studio anyway.

It can denoise but youre better off reading the manual, watching the videos and demoing it as it may not be as straight forward or as deep as you might like.

A dedicated program would be better for your needs though IMO

Actually didnt knew that either,there is spectral peaks,but dont think its like RX spectral editing,but havent used it.

any more info about Reaper 5 spectral editing?

Something inexpensive for spectral editing?
