Hi all!

CAn you help me to decide between M-Audio Delta 1010 LT or M-Audio FireWire 410? Is the firewire version really able to keep a really small latency? Anyone here who has already tested them?

I tend to Firewire, but if the internal card is much better I'll go there...

Thanx for help

I have and love the Delta 1010LT; very clean sounding card! It includes a very flexible software mixer. The Delta offers "0" latency time. Go to M-Audio's site and give the manual a good read.

I have a 1010LT and love it, but if you ever see yourself wanting to do something mobile, like with a laptop, go for the firewire, since its easily portable. Either one should have acceptable latency.

Hi Fhangor,

I have the Firewire 410 and use it at 44khz, 16 bit with 3ms latency. Pops and clicks at times when under strain but I have done nothing to optemize its performance.

I like to just stumble along I do :)

Really nice pre amps, phantom power and TONS of outs.

I have the 410 and latency is low,,mobility is great, I take it to the cottage on my laptop and get great sound..
BUT,,I should have got something with more inputs,at least 4 in,and the headphone amp sucks, not enuff power even at full volume for headphone monitoring and recording.
Don't be fooled with 192khz...are you ever going to use it? I'm not...
