well, as you might know already from the playing live thread, i've been asked to join a rock band.

mixing preprogrammed electronic parts with live playing needs rythmical rigour. the drummer uses a metronome click, fine. but the click has to be synchronized with the electronic parts. from my point of view, the best way to achieve this is a metronome that can be synchronized by midi.

my incoming roland sp-606 will send the tempo to the metronome, and the drummer will be my slave !

does that make sense?
