I was wondering if anyone knows if the program VSTHost allows you to assign Midi CC Control to specific parameters? Like if you have a Midi Controller with knobs or faders, can you assign/link a virtual knob in a VST Effect to your Midi Controller knob?
I always thought it had the capability to do this, but maybe I am trying the wrong method of doing so.
Thank You

There's a button [MIDI -> Parameter] - or from the toolbar, PlugIn/Window/MIDI -> Parameter.
Right-click in the Parameter column, select 'Learn', move a knob on your VST; then in the Type column, and move a controller.
Be sure to check out the different 'Types': there are some really cool 'relative' modes - it's the reason I use VSTHost for pretty much everything (in 'slave' mode [Legree]).

None of the really dumb people I knew when I was young are young any more.

@Syntilla
Ahhhh thank you so much for this.
Sad thing is I think when quickly messing around to find something like this, I actually opened up this window and closed it too quickly overlooking that this is the window I was looking for.
Probably because some other programs use this approach, I was trying to right click on the knobs and thinking I could assign them this way.
Also thank you for sharing the information about the "types - relative modes" I will look into this more.
Such a great program, I understand that the developer has some time/funding issues, but I wish this program would be continued to be updated. This program has endless potential, a friend of mine has a list of feature ideas he would love to share (he has told me about some of them and he has some great ideas), but doesn't know the current state of development.
It had not been updated in a long time, but then all of a sudden a new version came out with a mixer added, so hard to say. Even in its current state though, as mentioned it is a great program.
Thank you again for your help
