Hello KVR,

I am a long-time lurker and been visiting KVR for about 10 years. This is my first post, so hello and thank you!

My name is Ryan and I run a mixing/mastering studio where we also have recently started selling Sample Packs.

https://www.studio-phasen.com/sss (https://www.studio-phasen.com/sss)

To coincide with our latest paid-release, I am giving away 90 free FM synth sounds from the Yamaha TX81Z (the rack version of the DX11, and the first multi-timbral FM synth in Yamaha's DX series). Each sample was processed with only outboard gear from Eventide, Lexicon, FMR, Revive Audio, and Vintage Audio and are provided to you at 24bit, 88.2kHz. There are drones, chords, pads, stabs, basses, and more.

Please enjoy the free download and I wish happy music making to you all! I am always looking for ideas on what people want to see next and taking feedback on what we've already done. I intend to be an easy-to-use sample outlet with plenty of free content, hi-fi audio, receptive service, and well-made samples with headroom and proper gating. :) :tu:

Mods I am sorry, if you could please move this to Marketplace Forum. I misread the sticky previously and will be more careful in the future. Thank you guys!

Thanks for the free samples :tu:

Thanks Ryan. Downloading :tu:
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

You're welcome folks.

Did the links work out okay for you guys? I have heard that the links for the free pack aren't working.

I am sending an email out with an alternate link to everyone who has attempted to download it so far. Looks like my host has some troubleshooting to do with me in the morning :D

It took me a few tries but once it got going, the download was quick and stable. I just assumed the initial 'failure' was traffic related.

Thanks for these, Ryan. Going forward, will you supply the samples in formats other than raw .WAV files? I know many people on KVR use Kontakt and SoundFont players (among others), and some may want to download smaller, lighter, 24-bit/44.1 kHz (or 48 kHz) files, instead of 88.2 kHz, for various reasons.

Here's some of my stuff: https://soundcloud.com/shadowsoflife. If you hear something you like, I'm looking for collaborators.

Hello again,

All download issues have been resolved and had to do with .rar vs. .zip funcionality with my host.

In the future I will be supplying 24bit/44.1kHz samples almost exclusively and for now offer just raw files and Ableton Live racks. There are some Ableton racks in the paid version of this release.

Future release will use Kontakt and Soundfont, as well as reason/propellerhead and more. For now we are hand sampling and editing everything, but will soon have some software that samples for us and does all the relevant mapping/file formats automatically!
