is that a softsynth controller!?

Post

Wow, that looks allright. Nice to have the sliders a bit more to the left of the board. I wish someone would do a 76 key usb controller though!

I'll just say something:
Beware of a modulation joystick! Those return to middle position automatically which IMO makes no sense at all, considering what modulation is (and can be) used for very often.
Think N.I.'s B4 - Modulation is used to switch between slow and fast Leslie. Wóuld you really like to keep some sort of joystick pressed all the time just to have the Leslie running fast? The same goes for modulations controlling any sort of filter sweeps - sometiomes you just want to keep them opened.
Also, controlling pitch and modulation with a joystick, you certainly can do some weird widdlings, but most often I prefer having decent control over them.

Yes, I know you can assign modulation to another slider on controller keyboards - but it's just not the same as using a good old standard ModWheel, sitting just next to your PitchWheel.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.
