I need a program to use performing live. I play rock music as many know. I wish to play guitar for a measure and capture and loop it. I wish to play electronic synth bass samples in loops. I would like to also modulate incoming signals. I need this program to work with ASIO. I have other needs for this too, but I will first see what options there are for me.

I have started a band with a drummer. I am using my money I planned for guitar simulation to prepare a third and fourth 'person' for our two-part band.

All I can see to start to try is Ableton Live.

It is not made for live performance. There are plugins that will give me the performance options I need, but I wish to have a complete system. Having a ferarri does not mean you use it to go offroad! You buy an offroad vehicle!
