Hi guys hope someone can or have a possible solution to this problem as i did try to search the internet and did not find any solution for it.
I just bought Logic Pro X to which im compleat newbie im fairly good with Logic pro 9 the problem arise when i try to open Logic pro 9 projects in Logic pro X they open with no problem but incorrectly some track are muted which are not been muted in original Logic pro9 project and it seems like Logic pro X is opening older version of the Logic pro 9 projects, not the newest save version all those in preferences of Logic pro X i have clicked open newest version.
To laod from totally new saved project of Logic pro 9 I did save fresh copy of logic pro 9 projects with all it files and audio and plugins as a new project and did try to open in Logic proX but exactly the same thing happen the whole project opens with no problem but it is incorrect some audio files muted or it looks like it is opening backup files of older saved project in Logic pro 9 . i have mac pro and system and files are on separate hard disc any idea what this can be or why? thanks very much

1. Are there visible Mute indicators on the tracks you say are loading muted?
2. If any audio files are not found by Logic X, it should tell you this while loading projects, allowing you to locate them. Is this happening?
3. Any 32-bit 3rd-party plugins you used in your Logic 9 projects will no longer work with Logic X. I'm fairly confident Logic X should warn you of missing plugins. The plugin slots should indicate missing plugins. You'll need to update to 64-bit versions if they exist, or bounce those tracks to audio in Logic 9, or replace them with similar plugins.

thanks for the swift reply i can say that somehow the whole problem disappear i did restart the comp and save Logic pro9 project again with all it components under the new name and then reopen in Logic pro X and it worked so hope all will be fine .thanks for al
