Hey all, first time posting here so apologies if I am making any mistakes!

Just got Podium free, and I haven't even started the program yet. I am attempting to watch a tutorial whilst I figure it out, but for some reason the application takes all audio and video away. I have looked through the settings trying to figure it out, but it's really all just mumbo jumbo to me :?

Basically, Chrome won't have any audio, speakers won't have audio, headphones tested from control panel don't provide sound, and all video playback is halted. It also says "another application is using this device please close" when I attempt to test it. I have no idea how to use this program yet so sound playback through it is not really an option.

Anyone know how to fix this/ if it can be fixed? I'm super new to programs like these, so step by step explaining is required otherwise I'll just be lost in the words! (oh, and everything works fine when program is closed!)

Depending on your audio device and applications used, they will block the audio driver for exclusive use. So as soon as you start Podium Free it will block your audio device for other applications, like Chrome.

One thing you could try is to change the order of opening, e.g. first start Chrome and then Podium. If you have 2 audio devices (on-board sound and a dedicated audio interface), you could use one for all system based audio, which would include Chrome and then set Podium to the dedicated audio device.
