Hello All,
i want to start produce music, i like Funky Nu Disco.
And some time i like to do make music for movies, like Orchestral.
I will using only VSTs,and maybe some time will use real guitar that all of hardwares i want using only MIDI.

I think about Studio One 3 or Ableton?

What will be the good choose? Thank you : )

Starting up:
#1. run trials
#2. buy entry level versions to get acquainted first and see what needs really are
#3. decide what to get full versions that fit needs and wallet

StudioOne more like tape machine kind of linear approach.
Ableton very different approach.

It's all about own preferences.

i recommend ableton

Cubase is the king of MIDI.
What sound do dreams make when they die?

yepp, if mainly MIDI then Cubase or FL, MIDI orchestration (expression, articulations, keyswitching etc.) isn't Ableton's cup of tea

these things will be PITA

it really depends on whether you are a total beginner or not.
as an all-round choice i would pick Studio One as it is relatively uncluttered and you can learn all about automation of VSTs etc. it is basically like a streamlined cubase and not so complex. plus it's good for recording audio.

If you are on a Mac, Logic is an unbeatable deal...

As remarked above, depends on your experience. Being a Cubase user since '93 you can guess my recommendation. Start with Elements and work your way up.
If you're serious about orchestral stuff, Cubase has Expression Maps, a Godsend when using sample libraries with a lot of articulations.
I hope you have deep pockets....

Logic or Cubase.
