Hi Guys :)

I just discovered Tokyo Dawn Labs, and I have downloaded the free download Mac versions of SlickEQ and Kotelnikov successfully to my Desktop.

When I double click the dmg icons, it opens the page that relates to which DAW one has (I use LPX).

When I double click the AU component, I get a prompt that asks if I want to open the Application by Addictive Drums 2.

This is the part that I'm confused about :)

I want to install the Plug In to my Applications Folder, and when I want to open it, I want to choose it from all the various AU Plugins I have on my computer, and I don't want to open it through Addictive Drums 2, as I have other Drum Plugins installed as well.

So how do I install my Tokyo Dawn Plugins?

Thanks,
Jerry

Paste the files to the components, vst or VST3 folder.

I just pasted it to the Components Folder, but when I click on it, I get the same prompt of:

"TDR Kotelnikov.component" may be an application. It was downloaded from the Internet and will be opened by Addictive Drums 2. Are you sure you want to open it?

If I click Open, obviously Addictive Drums 2 opens :)

Use it inside of LPX

Okay, I'm an idiot :)

I had tried opening it from inside of LPX before I took you advise of pasting it into the Components Folder, and it wasn't there.

I quit LPX, opened it again, and low and behold, it was now in my list of AU Plugins :)

Thank you!

Jerry
