Can't open online manuals etc from DAW

All of the sudden when any plugin tries to open an online manual or connect to any webpage, all I get is a blank screen and the page won't load.

This happens in all of my DAWs. Doesn't matter whether it's Logic or Ableton.

It just started happening out of nowhere. Could there be a permission or something that could have gotten messed up?

I'm on Mac 10.12.6

It happens in all browsers. I tried making Firefox, Safari and Chrome default browsers and it happens in all of them. Normal web use is fine. This problem only happens when the browser is launched by the DAW.
