RME/Cardbus System Seems to Have Crapped-Out

Hi Folks,

When firing up my RME/Cardbus with my Dell Laptop it seems to very suddenly stopped working. Just like that. No warning.

I've done what troubleshooting I can, and it looks like a hardware problem.

I bought the units from Sweetwater, but their tech support has not gotten back to me and won't until Monday.

The reason I am posting is to ask if anyone has had to service RME products.

I'm trying to find out if repairs are done in the states, or if they need to be shipped back to Germany.

Naturally, I am in the middle of a project with a deadline, so having to ship 3 pieces (Multiface, PCMCIA card and cable) to Germany for troubelshooting and repair poses some real problems.

I'm trying to get an idea of what I'm up against here.
