Hi folks help old hink out here... :help: ...I want some good bass fonts or samples...the steve harris sound. Not electonic sounding, but clean, powerful, realistic (Old Svtish) bass sounds.... :)

You might like some of these bassfonts (if you don't already have them) It's *now* a 20MB download, but there are some good ones in it:

BassFonts-1-(sfarked).zip

Here's a sample of one of the fonts in the zip file, so you can try it before downloading the whole collection:

Aria Picked

Hope it helps :)

*Edit to say that these are all royalty free, so enjoy*

Based on your description you might be interested in my new library, it is an acoustic bass guitar:

First Demo: http://www.lastlibs.com/beta/Downtown.mp3

Second Demo: (bass solo'ed):
**"Forgiven Riff " 320kb/s MP3 (Approx. 30 sec.)

This demo shows what the Acoustic Bass Guitar is capable of naturally; no EQ, reverb, compression or any other processing has been applied, except the body resonance impulse included with the library. This was programmed in-house with the computer's mouse, to show the results you could get, even without live performance capabilities on the bass. This truely is the A.B.G. right out-of-the-box.

Hey - by the way - I forgot! :dog:

I can SFark those fonts if the download is too big for anyone.

Ahh.. I'll go ahead and do it anyway and include the sfark program in the zip file along with the fonts. 8)

*sheesh - I forgot I even had that wonderful little program...

K - Here it is sfarked and re-zipped, including the latest version of SFArk:
