i saw a vid and the guy used HoRNet SongKey MK2, pretty neat, would you suggest some alternative maybe?
is this plugin recommendable to identify the chords of songs you wanna learn from?
Key/Chord Detector?

I also used Tessitura Pro and it turned up a couple more scales and modes than SongKey.

Tried Hornet's plug with a free chord tool (Chordz by Code FN42 driving 4Front's E-Piano) and the results are mixed. If you trigger the same chord often it'll detect it eventually but not that precisely when only triggered once.
There may be a hidden algo though that takes into account what kind of key/scale you've been working with before and after in the whole context and refines the result by it, so this may not be an accurate observation.

Nothing beats a decent pair of ears, the grey stuff between them and a bit of theory. Take a look at some of Rick Beato's vids on youtube, he's done some really great tuts on chord recognition/transcription.
