Hello. It's been a long time coming but, here comes a new soundset for Massive.
What started out as an unused bespoke film project has slowly grown into a modern, digital, cinematic soundset.
Massive Omicron has a gritty, contemporary sci-fi sound, with its heart steeped in velvety blanket of classic analogue sounds, but with a digital edge that has Massive's signature ability to sit nicely in a mix.
Omicron is inspired by film scores such as Ex Machina and Blade Runner 2049, as well as game series such as Mass Effect and Deus Ex.
The 128 patches feature moody, evolving basslines intertwine with dynamic, menacing soundscapes; crisp, sonorous electric pianos ripple across sweet, melancholy pads; grainy, lo-fi drums pulse underneath punchy, savage synths and effects.
