FINALLY, after months of messing around sorting a job/flat/new computer (as the old one died as soon as I got time to use it again!) and other crap. I've finished a new track

kinda the mid point between my first and second EP's but I reckon by far my most well mixed track to date (much aided by my beautiful new BX8's

) A big dark drone, film soundtrack kinda thang.

please let me know what you think and any constructive comments etc etc.

well worth the wait ...
disturbing , with a subtle build ...
tension mounts ...
a superb release ...

has a darker anime mindset to it ...

Excellent! I like the mood that was accented by the voice. I didn't even listen to the actual words - just the tone of the voice is perfect for the song.

I love that sample, I was drawn to it mainly for its amazing rhythm, I didnt edit in/out any silence between phrases, thats it in original form (albeit made alot more dirty to fit with the tembre of the track). Brownie points to whoever knows where its from as well

Under 3 mins as well, never thought I'd manage that as either, lol

this pretty unsettling & omnious! really creepy but you ended it way too soon!!! i think this would have been so incredibly freaky if it were longer...

anyway even when it's so short it is still very impressive. my compliments!

Quite disturbing indeed, grabbing my guts, molding them and grinding them to release them in the etherreal.

I wonder how such a build would sound would it be closer to the ten minute mark

Shit. This is f***ing fantastic. I love it

. At least the part that I can d/l. Each time I try, I only get half of the track.
Any ideas why ??

I would appreciate being able to hear the full track.

That eerie speech sample just makes this track so damned dark, cold and sorrowful

The way it gels with the drones just makes me weep with envy. Can't get my tracks to sound anywhere near as evil as this.

Sorry about the lack of replies by me, away from Leeds at the moment trying to sort a house out in Bournemouth.

Ian Ainslie: no idea why it wont donwload properly for you, keep trying I guess, must just be a funny connection.

I decided to keep it short on purpose because I have further intentions for this track for when it is presented in a EP/LP. I expect there to be a huge introduction type track to it, and then a another exteneded outro track to it, so when I do get to finish the next EP, this will be extended.

So pleased about the positive responses, thanks for listening everyone, I really hope I can find more time this summer to get a new EP done, but my life is in a big transistion phase atm, so maybe once I move down here to Bournemouth and have settled a little bit more time. Anyone interested in mroe of my stuff, please go get my first 2 EPs online, and let me know what you thinkof them
