Are OTS guitar effects locked for use within the sample library only or can you somehow use them with a real/physical electric guitar?

Whilst there's a lot of fancy scripting going on, the actual reverbs/distortion/chorus delays etc are the Kontakt inbuilt ones. Very nicely programmed mind. If you click the spanner icon and scroll down you can see them.

So, in short, no you can't use them as vst effects - but they'll be very similar (especially the amp stuff) to a lot of those in guitar rig and other NI effects.
