Hello All,

I Have :
- Omnisphere 1 on DVD Version, upgraded to Omnisphere 2 through downloads on Spectrasonics Website
- My Steam folder on an external USB hard drive.

I have a new computer and would like to reinstall omnisphere 2 without reinstalling all the content, I'd like to still use my Steam Folder on the external hard drive, how to do it?

Thanks for your answers

It does not seem to work.

I Managed to reinstall it using only disk 1, installed all the omnisphere 2 updates and reauthorized.
Now I have error messages "cannpt load soundsources from the core library...try refreshing index in browser".

I Click on the circular arrow but error messages are still here...

Sounds like you didn't follow my instructions on the other thread. This is how you do it:
Just copy over all the media, then install the latest version of the plugin. Once you've authorised it (or before... can't quite remember) then it'll ask you where the STEAM folder is. Point it at your new location, and job done.
If you've only used disk 1 you'll be missing a ton of media, so you need to start again. You don't need the original disks at all, just copy the whole (old) existing STEAM folder full of all the content to your new location.

Hi Noiseboyuk,

First thanks for your answers.
If I understand correctly: I do not need to install Omnisphere 1 First, and can just install the Omnisphere 2 update?
Then point it to the new location of the Steam Folder and that's all?

Thanks.

Yes - just install the Omni 2 plugin and nothing else, then on launch you a) activate and b) point it to the location of your STEAM folder.

If all your instruments, sound sources etc were up to date, that should be it.
