Hey,
How could I set up kontakt so it can replace parts of an audio file randomly by picking from another one? For example let's say I have 2 audio files mapped to their own key. When I press a key, I want to hear the sample playing normally, but when I press another one, it would replace (or not as this would be random) the current playing sample slice by another one (from the sample mapped to the second key)

So yeah if you have any idea of how to do that, that would be amazing.

PS: I have no idea of how scripting in kontakt works, I only can create a knob that would be assigned to a control and that's it

Thanks!

Someone will probably come up with a better way of doing it, but this would work;

Map the slices onto one key as you would for a part of a drumkit
Stretch the keyrange to what you want
Turn off 'tracking' so the pitch doesn't change
Use the 'randomize velocity' preset script from the library and set the range to 1-127
Turn the velocity to volume modulator to zero so whatever velocity you play the volume is the same

If you've got it all set up right then whenever you press a key within the range a random slice will play at a constant pitch and velocity. I think...
