Notation software with counterpoint rules checking

hi, is there any notation software(DAW, whatever) which supports counterpointing(with configurable rules checking) beside Counterpointer of Ars Nova(it's working superbly I'm just curious/wondering) http://www.ars-nova.com/cp/ and my brain

Have a look at Pizzicato by Arpege Music Software.

The counterpoint tools are available in the following editions of Pizzicato:

1) Pizzicato Professional (the whole enchilada)
2) Pizzicato Composition Pro
3) Pizzicato Composition Light
4) Pizzicato Harmony and Counterpoint

I personally recommend purchasing the complete Pizzicato Professional edition to get all of the composition and notation tools. However, there is an upgrade path from some of the lesser editions to the higher editions.

The workflow is probably not what you had in mind; it requires export of your composition from within Pizzicato out to a MIDI/MusicXML file which you may then import into your DAW (or other music software).
