I bought the Townsend Lab Sphere Mic on Indiegogo during the startup campaign. I took a chance on it and wound up with serial number 0003. I absolutely love the mic.

I was working late with my headphones on and knocked over my weighted stand and the mic hit the floor hard and was badly damaged. I contacted the company via email just to inquire about repairs and shipping and fully acknowledged that it was my mistake and I expected no warranty coverage. A few hours later I had a response from the company CEO that they were shipping me out a replacement via airmail and that they would cover the full cost. The mic came within 3 days from California and I live in near Toronto, Canada.

Since my mishap they have made it policy for anyone that bought the mic during the Indiegogo promotion that the mic is covered for life including accidental damage of any kind. (They only ask for shipping costs).

I am floored. I guess they feel some sense of loyalty to those of us who took a chance on them during their Indiegogo start up.

I just wanted to share this story here as a small token of my gratitude. And the mic rocks.
