Vsti with Logic and Au adapter??? Help!!

Hi everybody!!

I'm a new user of FxXpansion, i just purchase the Vst Au adapter for Logic 6. and I'm trying to use the Halion strings edition 1. I isntalled it in my G4 Mac, using Logic of course, and i isalled the Au Adapter.. Then I copy the folder of Halion string in the Vst plugins of the adapter as they explain, convert to Au.. then Launch Logic, I can see the halion string player.. Now when I want to open a sound or load ... an error message pop up saying; SORRY, PLEASE CHOOSE A VST PRESET FILE (*fxp) (diagdnostic from Fxpansion XPLAT lib)

and when I wanna open an FXp setup, it loades up but here hte mesage i got: halion stringPlayer; some audio Files could not be found
Then I use the locate fonction and after I locate the aiff sound folder, I can not play nothing...
Is there ayone using logic who can help please, I would really appreciate. Thank you very much in advance.!

This may not be related at all, but I'm using a pbook g4 with logic 6.4.2, and I used to have troubles locating lib files with ni komplete. there are 2 things that I can recommend offhand, A) use your comp's disk utility to repair permissions on all files, and B) (this was what ended up working for me) make SURE you have NO special characters in ANY file, or folder name in the entire folder tree leading up to the library files. While this works for macs, some pc ports cannot read the special characters, and therefore have trouble locating necessary files. I don't know if this will help in your case, but it's good to know for future reference at least.
