Anyone tried both of these? I haven't delved too deep into Live4 yet, but I can't help think that the midi aspect of these two programs are very similar. P5 seems more refined and faster to work with. Live4 has the added bonus of the session view. Of course Live4 also has an excellent method of handling audio while P5 can only handle audio clips (which is why I frequently rewire P5 into Live).

Haven't tried Live4 with P5, but many people (as it seems you have as well) have found Live3 and P5 to be a very complimentary setup. From what I can see, I think Live4 and P5 will be just as powerful if not more so.sluggo wrote:Anyone tried both of these?
