Hey, guys! I've been fascinated by this sound for awhile now.
But I'm having a time, trying to learn, seems Stochastic, and granular synths are perfect for it. Any opinions?
Any one making this style?

Another wonderful book from Curtis Roads. Good recommendation, it's a top read.

that curtis roads book is pretty much all you need

the accompanying cd is fantastic too

The entire book is phenomenal, but the diagram for "Time Scales of Music" on page 5 truly blew my f'in mind in terms of situating sound/music-making as a time-based activity.

Thanks guys! Yeah, seems are roads(heehe) lead to Curtis Roads. I've watched the interview with him, on YouTube, a few times. The book, is in my wish list, at Amazon, I believe.
