Melda's MXXX, if you can afford it, is great. Wait for a sale.

Bought the Cableguys bundle in the recent sale and from that I think Shaperbox is pretty awesome - you have some pretty nice tools for sound mangling and it's also handy for multiband and mid-side mixing.
Seem to have bought a lot of plugins over the last few years where I tinker for a while but don't really come up with anything I actually fancy using, but find SB to be one of the first things I reach for, easy to use and a great ideas generator.

Also, I'm gonna put up a vote for Blue Cat plugins. Between MB-7 Mixer, Patchwork, and Late Replies, you can create just about any sort of effect you can imagine. This sort of breaks the rule of a "pack," but they are definitely a cohesive set of plugins with an enormous amount of options.
