Can any DAW trigger automated mix transitions relative to current settings?

I'm looking for a way to program automated transitions between one mix of track levels & effect parameter levels across multiple tracks, to another, smoothly, over time. This is for live performance, with multiple instruments being played live in different tracks.
In Ableton Live, I can't find a solution that starts with levels where they happen to be. Everything I come across - like launching a scene of clips that changes the levels over a set time, requires entering an arbitrary starting level, which if my current mix isn't at when I trigger that transition, means it's not a fluid transition. Any plugins I’ve seen that are also geared towards manipulating multiple parameters simultaneously, like Map8 or MultiMap, may provide adjustable max/min settings for parameters, but cannot make the beginning of any transition relative to existing levels.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a plugin (or another DAW) that can help achieve fluid mix transitions. Any tips would be much appreciated!

You could try adding a transparent compressor or limiter to the "arsenal", using them to control the volume instead of just the mixer faders.
Live's own Limiter is pretty transparent actually, I tested my limiters and clipper some time ago (also some demos of stuff I don't own), Live's was one of the cleanest, surprisingly.
Tonebooster Barricade was more transparent, and cheap too. I didn't buy it as Live's one is good enough for me, but maybe you want that quality.
edit:
Multiband Dynamics can both rise low volume sounds to a minimum level and lower high volume sounds to a maximum level, at the same time, with shift+drag you can adjust all bands at the same time, shift+alt+drag can adjust all bands in both sides. Not as transparent though.

As I read it - this is what VCA capable daws like Cubase Pro and ProTools can do.
But maybe I don't fully understand what you want to do.
You can assign one fader(and it's automation) to a range of tracks or even to a range of other VCA fader groups.
It becomes relative change of everything automated - you see a sum of VCA+tracks own automation visually.
Why I mention these two first - is that I know they allow nested VCA groups - one VCA can control a range of other VCA's , not only tracks directly.
You also get nicely relative affected automation on the controlled tracks - so you see how much each tracks automation is affected from VCA groups.
But Samplitude, Reaper can do VCA but not nested.
Not sure how StudioOne implemented it.

I thought OP was talking about triggering Clips, like a loud Clip after a quiet one, and wanting those to transition smoothly.
Won't Groups work for "relative volume"?
Maybe an Utility in the Group?

maybe clyphX, there is a VOL command to adjust a track volume :
