hey,

what do you recommend for dusting synths and studio hardware? anything that does a particularly good job? (especially at getting around knobs, buttons, etc.)

thanks,

This will sound odd, but I had success with an ostrich feather.

That, and regular use of Caig ProGold Deoxit contact cleaner: http://shopping.netledger.com/s.nl/c.AC ... zNp65In0__

Seriously, clean your contacts with this stuff and prepared to be amazed how much crap comes off and how much hi-end you can restore you your sound....

by the way...are those lightly magnetic dust cloths dangerous to use on synths? (on or off.)

I use one of those spray cans that blows air... works just fine..
Play it by ear

I just get my maid to do it. She's a Filipina. Awfully good.

I use a little car detailing brush to dust of keys, vents and around knobs/switches/buttons. And a feather duster for everything else.
