Greets,
Does anybody know of a site that has a few samples of sounds created by fungi, plants, rock, bats, etc?
I read something about them recently, and I'm really interesting in hearing these...

There's even an album by Michael Stearns and Ron Sunsinger (Singing Stones) where the background ambiences are earth frequencies  Amazing...

I won't add anything on the grounds that it may incriminate me ;) :P

BTW, ever heard the sound of spiders or grasshoppers while "enhanced"?
Could have been in my head only... but somehow I doubt it...

m-audio has a prosessions sample cd dedicated to this called "sounds of unseen worlds."
http://www.midiman.com/index.php?do=pro ... eb0f11cc21

product description:
"Sounds Of Unseen Worlds is a sonic voyage of atmospheric signals derived from plants, rocks, fungi, shortwave radio and bat radar, and expanded by an Eventide Orville Harmonizer. The sounds were captured via proprietary biosensors by sonic artist Duncan Laurie and tweaked into loops by DJ Sherlock. The collection transforms nature's subtle nuances into musical phrases and soundscapes. This unique material is perfect for film scores, video game soundtracks, electronica and hip hop."

under the lefthand menu (in orange) theres a link to play an mp3 demo. it sounds pretty cool.
