Hello! When I saw the title I thought finally someone did it! Turns out it's not what I was expecting. I'm sure it is usefull for some people but here is what I had in mind:

An installer that can run all installers, and/or install all dll plugins in one go. Select a destination folder, preload all serials and key files, Ilok information, passwords and user name for Wave center NI access, etc.

Manually installing on a new drive takes me an entire day sometimes more so I think if somebody can pull it off it might be a neat trick. I think on Mac there is automator that can perform similar operation. Maybe there is a windows solution as well ?

It seems doing it via those options needs a lot of programming.

Sadly, what you're asking is a very tall order. While not impossible to overcome technically (probably),
doing so, would be something akin to building a restaurant to heat a can of soup.

You could probably get fairly close with AutoIT actually, although, even that would be pretty nuts.

Anyway, to the Op, interesting concept.

That would only happen if all VST devs adhered to a common standard. Like Reason Rack Extensions which have a Universal installer. Otherwise that sounds nearly impossible and too much to ask of any software.

It’s impractical there are thousands of different VST developers and they all do thing differently.

Found this in a search, looked very interesting, but their web site appears to be defunct. :(
