flstudio and live

Hello everyone,

I wolud like to know how to implement rewire

flstudio (host) --------> ableton live (client)

configuration.

Actually,
I selected flstudio rewire plugin but it doesn't show live as it does reason. Is that because it's a demo version. But reason demo works well.

Please help.

Once you selected Live in the rewire generator of FL start Live manually (from windows start).Select the desired outputs in the drop-down box of Live's mixerpanel.These outputs are shown in the Busses window of Live (ReWire 1/2,ReWire 3/4..to ReWire 15/16).
You may need to check or uncheck 'Auto close device'in FLs audio settings if playback stops when switching apps, probably soundcard related.
A trick to quickly change between open programs/windows is to hold Alt+Tab button.

Euh..sounds more complicated than it actually is

Actually i have not used the live much but i wanted to just check the added functionality.

this is a newbie question :
FruityL is nice,
Live is nice
using them together in Rewire mode sounds nice too,
but what to do ??

playing pattern & vsti in FL and using the live features of Live ??
or what ?

Well can't say exactly

Actually i've not worked with Live and busy with FL.
I donn't know even the features of Live.
Afterall i'm not habitual of reading help.
