It's time for a change and a small side step from sample-mongering : so I proudly present FRICTION ...for DIVA.

FRICTION applies the Sound Dust aesthetic to U-He's amazing analogue softsynth DIVA and brings you 170 presets that look for beauty and cinematic atmosphere in filth and wrongness.

The starting point was early homemade 'industrial' synth pioneers such as Suicide, Vice Versa, Cabaret Voltaire, Fad Gadget - not forgetting the awesome and terrifying Throbbing Gristle . Although it turns out that TG are not that terrifying at all. I sent them my FRICTION cover of their track United for approval, they loved it and gave me an unconditional thumbs up - thanks again Chris : )

But I digress. From a starting point in the chaos and murky experimental charm of these early synth pioneers FRICTION moves into the now and marries the beast to beauty.

Huge weeping stringpads, elastic beatsync noise, murky weathered leads, deviant one finger atmospherics, organic heartbreak keyboards, West coast style uber modulations, glowering low end throbbing and earworming sound effects are all in the mix.

Wow I'm impressed by this soundset that I have just bought.
I really love your range of sounds.

I'm already a big fan of your Untopia soundset for Omnisphere and some of your kontakt instruments too.
I LOVE those kind of sounds, a la Boards Of Canada / Tapia De Veer.
Bizarre lofi filtered and dysfunctional sounds.

I can see in the sounds names that we share commun tastes and it's really a pleasure to find some presets/soundsets in this world that are not in the usual EDM poor mainstream style (even if sometimes I like to put some gummo-white-trash-style trance stabs on my tracks haha...).

I can't wait to take some of your presets and transform them and adapt them to my music !
